Our meetings are open to everyone and are a great opportunity to learn more about SLHS. Most meetings start with updates on PTSA activities from departmental chairs and the Principal’s report. Then the meeting is opened to questions and suggestions from attendees.  You do not have to be a member to participate.

PTSA meetings are generally held the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Media Center, but please check the calendar or electronic news for exact dates.

Often, the second part of the meeting will include a special program. Previous topics have included substance abuse, academic support, student safety, college and career counseling, and school department presentations. If you have suggestions for topics you would like to see presented during the program portion of a PTSA meeting, please contact our VP of Programs (vicepresident1@southlakesptsa.org).

The Academic Boosters (acadbooster@southlakesptsa.org) and the All Night Grad Party (angp@southlakesptsa.org) committees hold monthly meetings as well.
