2018 Fairfax County Regional Science and Engineering Fair
Congratulations to the SLHS Students who participated in the 63rd Annual Fairfax County Regional Science and Engineering Fair held March 17-19 at Robinson Secondary School. This Fair is a competition for students attending high schools in Fairfax County, VA. Every year, the top projects selected by the judges at each school’s internal Science Fair move on to represent the school at this regional event.
This year, South Lakes had a very strong showing. Seventeen out of the twenty projects representing the school got some sort of commendation ranging from Grand Prize Nominees to Honorary Mentions and recognitions from a variety of scientific organizations.
