DESCRIPTION:TONIGHT\, Monday\, December 3 at 7 pm at the Lecture Hall\, the PTSA is sponsoring a talk about college admissions and test preparation.\n\n\nDr. Applerouth\, the founder and president of Applerouth Tutoring and Test Preparation Services will be at South Lakes HS to lead an informative session about college applications and related topics. Some of the points he will cover are:\n  \nAdmissions\n\n– How college applications are read\, what makes them competitive\n\n\n– Different kinds of admissions (early action\, early decision\, rolling)\n\n\nThe Price of College\n\n\n– FAFSA and scholarships\n\n\nCollege Admission Testing\n\n\n– The SAT vs. the ACT\n\n\n– The testing timeline\n\n\n– Test anxiety\n  \nThe talk will last about an hour.  Dr. Applerough will be happy to answer questions after his presentation.\n  \nParents can signup at applerouth.com/signup (Event Code M324592) or just come by tonight.
