On February 2nd, the <C://>Hawks participated in the FIRST Tech Challenge Virginia State Tournament. There they faced Virginia’s 55 best teams.
Our team’s year long hard work paid off at awards time: they won the Control Award and were third place for the Motivate Award.
“The Control Award celebrates a team that uses sensors and software to increase the robot’s functionality on the field. This award is given to the team that demonstrates innovative thinking in the control system to solve game challenges.”
SLHS Robotics Team wins Award at Virginia State Championship
